On the airwaves: radio blog

Welcome to my personal station dispatch from Apeldoorn, Netherlands. Follow my movements across the HF bands, station news, and digital mode experiments.

Chasing signals on 20 meters

My primary playground remains the 20-meter band. Whether conditions are quiet or booming with global traffic, you will frequently find PD3CFG decoding FT8 signals. It is an efficient way to track band openings and connect with friends across continents.

Digging into RTTY and SSTV

Beyond regular FT8 contacts, I love diving into classic and visual modes. Every once in a while, I fire up RTTY or decode SSTV transmissions on both 20 meters and 40 meters, testing signal clarity and propagation nuances.

Connect and say hello

This logbook exists for fellow radio enthusiasts and friends tracking my station activities. Feel free to reach out whenever you want, whether to discuss propagation, exchange signal reports, or arrange a contact on the bands.
